Teacher Training Program (200 hr)

A powerful and richly transformative year-long training
- one weekend per month for a year.


This powerful life-changing program is a yearlong in-depth practice and study of asana, pranayama, meditation, conscious communication, and the philosophical underpinnings of yoga. It will transform your yoga practice and every aspect of your life. It will infuse your practice with purpose, creativity and a sense of exploration, ground you in self-knowing and wholeness, and inspire you to live and teach from your heart.

Suitable for aspiring yoga teachers and dedicated students, this program is open to anyone who has been practicing yoga for at least one year and has a passion for yoga.

The program is registered with the national Yoga Alliance and consists of Modules 1 through 4 (each Module consists of one weekend per month for three months). Students who successfully complete the program are eligible to register with Yoga Alliance on the 200 hour level.

Module 1: Oct 23-25, Nov 20-22, Dec 18-20

Cost: $2,400 for the entire program, or $650 per Module, payable one month prior to the start of a Module or the Program. A deposit of $650 will reserve your place.

Advanced Teacher
Training Program (500 hr):

"The Yoga of Life"
Starting January 2010



The Yoga of Life/Advanced Teacher Training Program is a yearlong program that meets ten weekends per year, plus Tuesday nights for 40 weeks of the year (no Tuesday night  sessions during the summer) and practice teaching once per month.

Cost: The tuition for the 500 hr program is $3,000 in advance, or $300 per month for 12 months.  A deposit of $600 will reserve your place. Students may also sign up for all 10 weekends OR all Tuesday evening sessions

Yoga In The Wild - Yoga & Hiking in the Olympic National Park

Summer of 2010

From a base camp deep in the heart of the Olympic National Forest, come join us for all or part of a glorious week which will include: early morning yoga surrounded by glacial mountians; daily hiking adventures (shoes optional) into the wildest and most remote part of the Olympic National Park; evening meditations, fire ceremonies and singing/chanting around the campfire (if permissible). Led by Kim Achelis

Yoga, Creativity & Nature (ages 6-9)

In an atmosphere of trust and playfulness, this camp allows children to stretch their imaginations and muscles, offering them non-competitive opportunities to play and simple techniques to relax and connect to themselves and nature.

A Typical Day:

  • Gathering activities
  • Yoga Play (including sun salutations, cobra, down dog and partner flying poses!)
  • Photos/Collage of Yoga Poses (so they can do them at home)
  • Outdoor Nature Adventure at Priest Point Park
  • Yoga Games
  • Closing

What Kids Will Learn:

  • Yoga asanas (poses)
  • Surya Namskara (sun salutation)
  • Yoga games
  • Mindfulness and self-calming techniques
  • Breathing practices
  • Fun songs

Developing the Whole Person (ages 10-14)

Simply put, practicing yoga can help teens experience their true selves, and give them ways to fully inhabit their body, calm their minds and live with an open radiant heart. Susan Tuzzolino, a public school educator for 13 years and yoga teacher, will guide teens and pre-teens through the beginning steps of yoga , breathing and meditation.

A Typical Day:

  • Gathering activities
  • Yoga Class (including sun salutations, cobra, down dog, handstands and partner flying poses!)
  • Journaling/Collage to integrate and access the non-verbal
  • Walking Meditation at Priest Point Park
  • Exercises to Build Authentic Communication Skills
  • Closing

Cost: $125/week per child
