| Schedule of Classes Living Spirit Yoga classes keep the rich and ancient tradition of yoga alive, fresh and dynamic. We offer creative sequencing of poses, precise instruction on alignment, attention to the breath and body awareness, and a sense of adventure. Mats and yoga props are available at the studio. Monday: 10:00 11:30 am Moderate Yoga Receive the amazing gifts of yoga without the strenuous activity. Learn modified postures, breathing techniques and be guided into deep relaxation. Students of all levels can enjoy this class. Teacher: Nathan Monday: 5:30 7:00 pm Level I The next step up from the Beginners Series, with more variety of poses and slightly more challenging. Emphasis is placed on proper alignment, breathing, building core strength and releasing old tensions and patterns in the body/mind. Teacher: Susan
Tuesday: 4:00 7:00 pm Advanced Teacher Training Intermediate and advanced asana, pranayama and meditation practices for participants of Living Spirit Yoga's 500 hour Advanced Teacher Training Program. Program also includes 10 weekend sessions. Participants may sign up all of the Tuesday night sessions for the year (42) or all of the weekends sessions (10), or both. No drop-ins permitted.
Wednesday: 3:30 - 4:45 pm Hatha Flow (All Levels) A moderately paced, continuous flow of postures designed for all levels of students. The hallmarks of our Hatha Flow classes are creative sequencing that makes anatomical sense, a wide variety of poses, clear instruction on alignment, and a sensible balanced approach to the practice. Teacher: Susan Wednesday: 5:150 -6:45 pm Beginners Series This 8-week introductory series is a great place to start. Stretch, strengthen and come back home to your body as you learn basic yoga postures, meditation techniques, breathing exercises and experience deep relaxation. This series can be taken on an on-going basis or as a preparation for the Hatha Flow classes. Next 8- week series starts Oct 28th. Teacher: Nathan.
Thursday: 3:30 -4:45 pm Gentle Yoga Stretch, breath, listen to your body, relax your mind. Enjoy gradual improvements in flexibility, strength and tolerance to stress. Eperience a yoga class where postures are adapted to meet your needs. Teacher: Diana. Friday: 6:00 - 8:30 pm Master Class For particpants and graduates of Living Spirit Yoga's In-Depth Studies and Teacher Training Program (200 hr) or others with advanced permission of the instructor. Teacher: Nathan.
Saturday: 9:00 -10:15 am Vinyasa Alive! Lively, creative, flowing sequences in a heated room (warm but not blistering hot). Pulse, sweat, prana, flow...deep and contagiously fun. Taught by a team of Living Spirit Yoga Teachers: Jo, Jane, Isaac and Susan. Saturday: 10:30 -11:45 am Beginners Series This 8-week introductory series is a great place to start. Where to start? If you are completely new to yoga, the best place to start is the Beginners Series on Wednesday nights.
